Prince Vegeta Saga[]

Layeeck's team (レイックのエリートのちから, Reikku No Erīto No Chikaru (literally "Layeeck's Elite Force")) was a three-man team of Saiyans briefly seen during the Prince Vegeta Saga of The Forgotten. Two of the members (Saiyan 1 and Saiyan 2, in the written story) were male and one (Saiyan 3) was female. Some time before the start of the chapter, the three of them wasted a perfectly good planet because they could not control themselves. Layeeck warned them, in the second chapter of The Forgotten, that should they do such a thing again, King Vegeta would execute them. They were present during Ledas' first mission and helped Layeeck clear the planet in their Great Ape forms. They were not seen again during the story, though it is assumed that they continued going on missions with Layeeck up until the Genocide of the Saiyans, when they would have either been killed by Frieza destroying their home planet or by Zarbon sending a team to take them out if they were not on the planet.

Prince Vegeta Saga[]

Frieza had millions of soldiers (フリーザ 軍兵士ぐんへいし, Furīza Gunheishi) in the story. They existed only to serve him. They were very servile. Their role in the series did not extend past the first saga. None were seen (or assumed) to have survived past that saga.

Saiyan Pod Commander[]

Saiyan Pod Commander

Gender: Male
Residence: Planet Vegeta
Personal Pronouns: おれ
Rank: Pod Commander
Organizations: Planet Trade Organization
Favorite Food: Owoki*
Favorite Vehicle: Space Pod
Hobbies: Training, raising native birds

Prince Vegeta Saga[]

The Saiyan Pod Commander (宇宙船うちゅうせん主事しゅじ, Uchūsen No Shuji) was in charge of a Space Pod port on Planet Vegeta. He was the one who gave the Space Pods to Ledas, Vegeta, and Nappa on their last mission together. He was not expecting Prince Vegeta, so he didn't have enough pods ready when the group arrived. Because of this, the pod that he gave Ledas ended up being a junker and needed to be repaired. While he expected to have it repaired in an hour, the Commander's expectation was optimistic. His technicians took their time repairing the pod, which angered Ledas immensely. As he needed to leave the planet as soon as possible to join Vegeta in clearing a planet especially for Frieza, seeing them lounge around was simply infuriating. The Pod Commander attempted to explain to Ledas that they would require more time, but the impatient Saiyan boy instead killed him and took off in his pod. The Saiyan Pod Commander is therefore the only Saiyan Ledas ever killed.

Lauto Saga[]

Cooler had millions of soldiers (クウラ 軍兵士ぐんへいし, Kūra Gunheishi) in the story. In The Forgotten, several hundred soldiers were seen on Planet Cooler 92, wherein most of the Lauto Saga took place.

Stomping Grounds Saga[]

Cooler's elites were shown on the Stomping Grounds in this saga. While numerous commanders and soldiers were named, there were also thousands of unnamed soldiers shown as well. Several Stomping Grounds-specific councilors were also shown. This is because the Stomping Grounds was the Capitol planet of Cooler's empire. More of Planet Cooler 92 soldiers were shown in this saga, and almost all of them watched as Ledas and Guva fought the Plantains.

  • A type of Cooler Soldier, the Stomping Grounds Elite, is featured in the Raging Blast: DLC.

Planet Earth Saga[]

The remaining Planet Cooler 92 soldiers were shown in this saga. When Banas returned, he showed how little care he had for them, when he destroyed several dozen of them. After Banas and Guva left to settle their dispute, the Natives rebeled and exterminated the remaining soldiers. Guva found this out when he returned to his outpost years later.

Reunion Saga[]

When Guva returned to his planet, he found all of his soldiers dead. They were apparently killed by the Natives. Despite being of significantly higher power than the Natives, and having technology (where the Natives do not), the few hundred soldiers were killed because they were so outmatched. Guva confirmed via scouter that all of them were dead before he left the planet.

Planet Cooler 92 Natives[]

Natives
character image
ネイティブズ, Neitibuzu
Detailed Information:
Appearances: Lauto Saga
Stomping Grounds Saga
Planet Earth Saga
Reunion Saga
Species: Xili
Gender: Male & Female (varies)
Residence: Planet Cooler 92
Personal Pronouns: n/a
Rank: Slaves
Organizations: Planet Trade Organization, then none (after liberation)
Favorite Food: Any foods native to Xii
Favorite Vehicle: n/a
Hobbies: Participating in community dances, playing in local musical groups, swimming

Lauto Saga[]

There was only one native, sentient species on Planet Cooler 92, and they were known as the Xili (ネイティブズ, Neitibuzu). They were weak, power level wise (only averaging around 2-3 on measurement), but they possessed remarkable endurance. This is a rather lucky combination for a good yet weak worker force on a resource-rich planet such as Planet Cooler 92.

Stomping Grounds Saga[]

The natives became a symbol of slavery for Ledas when he returned to Planet Cooler 92. Upon seeing them being treated so poorly, he was able to empathize with them. This caused him to attack Payar - a notable Native-slayer - and transform into Super Saiyan. When Ledas later attacked The Plantains, he left Payar for the natives. They happily obliged to kill the alien.

Planet Earth Saga[]

During Guva's and Banas' struggle, which took them off-planet, the Natives rebelled and attacked the remaining Cooler soldiers. They decimated the soldiers completely.

Reunion Saga[]

They were nearly exterminated by Guva after he found out they had destroyed his outpost. He shot out an extermination rain attack and killed 99% of the creatures, leaving only a few hundred alive. It is unknown if their species recovered, though it is estimated that they did not. Regardless, none of the species were ever seen again.

Planet Trade Organization Rebels[]

Planet Trade Organization Rebels
character image
クウラ軍反賊ぐんほんぞく, Kūra Gun Honzoku
Detailed Information:
Appearances: Lauto Saga
Stomping Grounds Saga
Species: Varies
Gender: Male and Female (varies)
Residence: Cooler's territory
Personal Pronouns: オレ
Rank: Varies (private, corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, general, etc)
Organizations: Planet Trade Organization Rebels
Favorite Food: Varies
Favorite Vehicle: Space Pod
Hobbies: Training
Family: Lenomi (member)

Lauto Saga[]

The Planet Trade Organization Rebels (クウラ軍反賊ぐんほんぞく, Kūra Gun Honzoku) were a group of former soldiers in Cooler's armies. They were actively engaged in trying to kill Cooler and destroy the Planet Trade Organization as a whole during the Lauto Saga. A small group of them was first seen attempting to recruit a strong warrior, Banas, to their ranks. He rejected their offer and killed them. Some years later, the rebels dispatched a team of their soldiers to Planet Cooler 92 in order to enact revenge on Banas. After those forces were pushed back, Guva, the governor of that planet, ordered his elite soldiers to find the rebels and eradicate them. From hacking into the ships of the defeated rebels, The Plantains were able to find where the rebels came from, and they immediately set out to kill them. Each of the Plantains who went to the rebel hideout (Ledas, Lieme, Payar, and Meloon) had a small army of Saibamen in their possession to help them fight off the numerous soldiers.

The rebels were located on a vanadium mining rig owned by the Planet Trade Organization. The Plantains snuck aboard the rig and then set loose their Saibamen to attack the rebels. It didn't take long for the Plantains to completely destroy the rebel forces. Ledas dueled with the strongest member of the installation, Lenomi, and killed her. However, as Lenomi did not seem to be a leader herself and the number of rebels on the vanadium mine was relatively low, it was assumed that they were merely a part of the rebel cause, and not the entirety of it.

Stomping Grounds Saga[]

Later, in order avert suspicion about his own rebellious tendencies (which were, admittedly, nonexistent) Banas took Ledas taken to Cooler's Capitol Planet, The Stomping Grounds. After the captain declared Ledas a rebel, Cooler's high councilors began to interrogate him. What was noted at that time was that Ledas was neither the first suspected rebel being questioned nor the last. There were numerous other potential rebels being interrogated concurrently with the Saiyan boy. This showed how seriously Cooler took the threat of the rebels. He even eventually showed up and fought Ledas himself, even trying to force Ledas to tell him where the main rebel base of operations was. Of course, since Ledas wasn't a rebel, he couldn't tell Cooler.

Years later, the rebel threat appeared to have vanished. After Ledas broke out of his 21 year stasis, very few mentions of them were ever made again. This was because Digranite, Cooler's Supreme General, eradicated their entire operation, personally, some time before Ledas woke up, effectively ending the rebellion.

.

Ledas' Saibamen[]

Ledas was given 60 Saibamen by Guva to destroy the rebels. Seven of them survived the initial raid. These were named by Ledas:

Planet Earth Saga[]

He later matured into the red form during Ledas' search for Earth, and sparred with his fellow Saibamen throughout that journey. Noteably, Ses was the only green Saibaman who was shown, on screen, to transform into a red one. Ses accompanied Ledas to Earth, and trained in his Gravity Suppression Unit along with him. During Ledas' battle with Piccolo, Ses was accidentally released from his seed-form. He wreaked havoc on the remains of the town that Ledas earlier blew up, and killed many fleeing humans. Upon Wilde's order to return to Ledas, Ses sided with Wilde and fled.

Fulfillment Saga[]

Ses was seen in final two chapters of this saga, training in Ledas' gravity training unit with his fellow Saibamen. By this point, his strength had grown far beyond that of a normal Saibaman's, and he was extremely loyal to Ledas.

Planet Earth Saga[]

He later matured into the red form during Ledas' search for Earth, and sparred with his fellow Saibamen throughout that journey. Poy accompanied Ledas to Earth, and trained in his Gravity Suppression Unit along with him. During Ledas' battle with Piccolo, Poy was accidentally released from his seed-form. He wreaked havoc on the remains of the town that Ledas earlier blew up, and killed many fleeing humans. Poy questioned Wilde's leadership during their rampage, and didn't want to flee with him. After Wilde killed Oppa, Poy attempted to avenge his brother by attacking Wilde, but he was swiftly blown to pieces by Carawa.

He wreaked havoc on the remains of the town that Ledas earlier blew up, and killed many fleeing humans. Oppa questioned Wilde's leadership during their rampage, and didn't want to flee with him. His bloodlust was becoming reckless beyond annoyance to Wilde, which resulted in the Saibaman commander killing him with a finger beam.

.

Carawa[]

Carawa
Redsaibs
ケラワ, Kerawa
Detailed Information:

Planet Earth Saga
Fulfillment Saga

Ses (brother)
Ame (brother)
Poy (brother)
Oppa (brother)
Sonfla (brother)
Wilde (overseer)

Lauto Saga[]

Carawa (ケラワ, Kerawa) was one of Ledas' red Saibaman who survived the raid on the rebels. His name is a pun on caraway. He was the third in command, under Wilde and (of course) Ledas. He led the small vanguard forces ahead of the main forces in a feint to lure out the soldiers. While this ploy worked, it cost Carawa almost his entire Saibamen team; with only he, Ses, Ame, and Sonfla surviving from that group. Indeed, their survival was only because of Carawa's ability to create many small ki blasts, which ended up killing quite a few of the rebels. He was particularly friendly toward Wilde, who was the only other red Saibaman at the time.

Planet Earth Saga[]

He later matured into the red form during Ledas' search for Earth, and sparred with his fellow Saibamen throughout that journey. Carawa accompanied Ledas to Earth, and trained in his Gravity Suppression Unit along with him. During Ledas' battle with Piccolo, Carawa was accidentally released from his seed-form. He wreaked havoc on the remains of the town that Ledas earlier blew up, and killed many fleeing humans. When Wilde asked him to flee with him, Carawa was the first Saibamen to agree with him. He later killed Poy, when Poy attempted to attack Wilde.

Fulfillment Saga[]

Carawa was seen in final two chapters of this saga, training in Ledas' gravity training unit with his fellow Saibamen. By this point, his strength had grown far beyond that of a normal Saibaman's, and he was extremely loyal to Ledas.

.

Sonfla[]

Sonfla
Sonfla

Favorite Vehicle: Unicycle
Hobbies: Sleeping
Family: Ledas (master)
Ses (brother)
Ame (brother)
Poy (brother)
Oppa (brother)
Carawa (brother)
Wilde (overseer)

Lauto Saga[]

Sonfla (サンフラー, Sanfurā) was one of Ledas' green Saibaman who survived the raid on the rebels. His name is a pun on sunflower. He was in the vanguard under Carawa's control, and was one of the only Saibamen to survive in that raid. Sonfla is the only Saibaman of the seven who survived who did not kill anything. He was not particularly gifted in training, and had terrible form, so that he was the only of Ledas' survivors who did not mature into the red form.

Planet Earth Saga[]

Sonfla was the only Saibaman never to transform into the red form. This is because he rarely trained, and was not as aggressive as his fellow Saibamen. Sonfla accompanied Ledas to Earth, though he did not train in his Gravity Suppression Unit along with his Saiyan master. During Ledas' battle with Piccolo, Sonfla was accidentally released from his seed-form. He watched the rest of the Saibamen wreak havoc on the remains of the town that Ledas earlier blew up. He questioned Wilde's authority during the rampage, so Wilde attacked him and attempted to kill him. Sonfla was not killed, however, and was taken by General Silver and the new Red Ribbon army. He was then interrogated by them, though he revealed nothing. Being badly wounded and unable to speak to the humans, Sonfla suffered mightily during this time. After Silver showed Sonfla Ledas' pod, Sonfla realized why they had him, and in a last noble effort, self-destructed. He killed a large portion of the New Red Ribbon Army by doing this.

.

Wilde[]

Wilde
Redsaibs
ワイルド, Wairudo
Detailed Information:
Appearances: Lauto Saga
Planet Earth Saga

Family: Ledas (master)
Ses (brother)
Ame (brother)
Poy (brother)
Oppa (brother)
Carawa (brother)
Sonfla (brother)

Lauto Saga[]

Wilde (ワイルド, Wairudo) was one of Ledas' red Saibaman who survived the raid on the rebels. His name is a pun on wild seed. He was the strongest of the Saibamen, and was deemed their leader. Under Ledas, he coordinated the attack on the rebels, showing that he possessed some capacity to think. Wilde was the first Saibaman named by Ledas, not only in pun, but due to his wild personality in battle. He led the main force of Saibamen, and killed more of the rebels than anyone, except for Ledas. He was considered the favorite of Ledas, and often acted as his right hand man to the other Saibamen.

Planet Earth Saga[]

Wilde led the training exercises during Ledas' search for Earth, and it was his strength in dueling that let the others rise to his level. Unlike the others, Wilde in the fourth saga, did not wreak havoc the Earth town, but attempted to get his soldiers under control. As Oppa was too frenzied to deal with, Wilde resorted to killing him instead. He also shot Sonfla for subordination, though his attack did not kill the green Saibaman.

Fulfillment Saga[]

Thereafter, he continued to act as the Saibamen leader, with Carawa's support, though Ses and Ame were less enthusiastic about his leadership. He was the Saibaman most often used by Ledas as company whenever Ledas was lonely. Wilde was seen in final two chapters of this saga, training in Ledas' gravity training unit with his fellow Saibamen. By this point, his strength had grown far beyond that of a normal Saibaman's, and he was extremely loyal to Ledas. He had become far stronger than any of the other Saibamen as of his last appearance in The Forgotten.

Planet Earth Saga[]

Dr. Brief (ブリーフ 博士はかせ, Burīfu Hakase) and Bulma (ブルマ ブリーフ, Buruma Burīfu) were two characters featured briefly in The Forgotten. Their role in the series was minimal, and indeed the only thing they ended up doing is giving Ledas a gravity training unit. Bulma wasn't as enamored with this idea, and told her husband, Vegeta, that Ledas had stolen the gravity training unit. This eventually led to Ledas and Vegeta battling one another in this saga.

Fulfillment Saga[]

After that, none of the Brief's family was seen much for the rest of The Forgotten, except for Bulma and Dr. Brief making a brief appearance in the finale of the story. During the final montage of that chapter, Bulma watched Vegeta, Ledas, and Ryori eat a bunch of food. Dr. Brief also came in and looked at them, and he nearly recognized Ledas as being the boy who stole a gravity training unit from him two sagas prior.

She was a high school sophomore at Ledas' school, and is one of the girls who Ledas stole the panties from. After returning the panties to her specifically, Ledas apologized and got to know her, as she (likewise) got to know him. Her name is a combination of 美 (beauty) and 希 (hope).

Planet Earth Saga[]

In The Forgotten, Piccolo (ピッコロ, Pikkoro) was one of the Z Fighters present on Earth. During the fourth saga, he was aware of Ledas' presence, and attacked the boy after Ledas destroyed a city. The two fought an extremely hard-fought battle, though Piccolo lost.

Reunion Saga[]

Piccolo was present in the Reunion Saga's confrontation of Guva, though he did not fight during that battle. As that went on, he instructed Tien to not step in and save Chiaotzu, telling him that if Chiaotzu was hurt, he would step in himself. Piccolo fought The Benefactor along with Gohan until the mist sucked out most of his power. Then, he was thrashed by The Benefactor and defeated.

Fulfillment Saga[]

After being incapacitated by The Benefactor in the last saga, Piccolo was seen being healed by Krillin in this saga. After Krillin acquired some senzu beans from Yajirobe, he brought them to the defeated Z Fighters and healed them. Afterwards, Piccolo was seen taking part in Cardinal's tournament. There, he fought against Gohan and lost. Afterwards, he observed the duel between Vegeta and Ledas. He recognized Ledas as being the boy he fought in the Planet Earth Saga, but decided not to say anything, as he noted there were more than a few Z Fighters who had a dark past. Once the fight was over, he watched Vegeta and Ledas fly off into the distance with the other Z Fighters.

New Red Ribbon Army[]

New Red Ribbon Army

Reunion Saga
Fulfillment Saga

Rank: Varies (private, corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, general, etc)
Organizations: New Red Ribbon Army
Favorite Food: Varies
Favorite Vehicle: Red Ribbon Army vehicles

Family: Cardinal (leader)
Supreme General Silver (Commanding General)
Captain Green (Captain)
Private Wisconsin (Private)

Planet Earth Saga[]

Supreme Commander Silver's legion (シルバー 軍団ぐんだん, Shirubā Gundan) was an army of humans under the command of former Red Ribbon officer Colonel Silver. They consisted of 350 foot soldiers and 30 scientists. While Silver was the Supreme General, the real leader of the army was Cardinal, Silver's father. Cardinal steered the organization into more of a political behemoth, and as such, they maintained only a small army. Political members, such as Kindler, File, and Dewberry all ranked higher than all of the soldiers save for Silver. By the time of Cardinal's introduction in the Planet Earth Saga, his army was the strongest political force in the world, and commanded the United Nations.

During the Planet Earth Saga, the army led the investigation of an alien menace in the ocean town. They engaged the Saibamen in battle, though they suffered massive losses during that. Later, after Captain Green captured one Saibaman, the army scientists attempted to interrogate the creature. This led to Sonfla blowing himself up and killing even more of the army. By the end of the saga, there were only about 80 soldiers and 10 scientists left. All of them piled aboard Ledas' gravity training unit to escape Majin Buu.

Reunion Saga[]

The soldiers of the New Red Ribbon Army survived the destruction of Earth in Ledas' gravity training unit. After the Earth reappeared and Dewberry returned to the planet, most of the soldiers remained under Kindler's control. He was supposed to use them to kill Ledas and Ryori and then find and hide Shoekki's body. That did not go as planned, and Ledas ended up killing all of them. The remaining soldiers returned with Cardinal to his temporary base in the city. After hearing of Kindler's and Dewberry's deaths, Cardinal worked up a new strategy with his remaining soldiers. They created poisonous bullets, which they wanted to use to take out Ledas and Ryori.

Silver led the remaining soldiers to the site of the monumental fight between the Z Fighters and The Benefactor. They began shooting the poison at Ledas when the boy sensed them. Ledas shot a Lightning Strike at them, but not before being afflicted terribly by the poison they shot him with. The Lightning Strike then destroyed most of the soldiers. At the end of the saga, only Cardinal, his political assistants, and the scientists appear to remain for the army.

Fulfillment Saga[]

As it was revealed in this saga, Private Wisconsin survived Ledas' Lightning Strike, so the army survived as he did. However, when he died soon thereafter, Cardinal vowed to disband the New Red Ribbon Army. No doubt, he succeeded in this venture, instead relocating his scientists and political assistants into a new organization.

In the coming days and weeks, Green led interrogation of Sonfla, though this proved to be fruitless. When Sonfla self-destructed, Green protected Supreme General Silver with his own body, showing how loyal he was. He accompanied the rest of the surviving Red Ribbon Army on Ledas' space ship into space as Majin Buu ravaged the Earth.

Reunion Saga[]

Captain Green was largely absent from the saga. He followed Cardinal back to their base after returning to Earth. Then, he helped lead the remaining soldiers to Ledas' location. Under Silver's command, he set up sniper teams to shoot the poisonous bullets at the boy. He was killed by Ledas' Lightning Strike soon afterwards.

He dueled with Ledas after the boy attacked Vegeta, however, their fight was short-lived. Goku stopped the fight, as he wanted to focus on The Benefactor, not in-fighting amongst the heroes. Upon The Benefactor's defeat of Tien, Chiaotzu, Gohan, Piccolo, and Gotenks, Goku challenged the monster in his Super Saiyan 3 form. Unbeknownst to him, the mist that had been forming around Goku and the other Z Fighters was actually sucking out their power. Goku was able to maintain his Super Saiyan 3 form for a brief period of time, fighting The Benefactor as best he could, but he was eventually drained of too much of his strength. The Benefactor was then able to easily defeat him.

Fulfillment Saga[]

After being incapacitated by The Benefactor in the last saga, Goku was seen being healed by Krillin in this saga. After Krillin acquired some senzu beans from Yajirobe, he brought them to the defeated Z Fighters and healed them. Afterwards, Goku was seen taking part in Cardinal's tournament. Krillin later awoke after The Benefactor had defeated the rest of the Z Fighters. He saw his wife injured and decided to set off for Dende because he remembered there were no Senzu Beans available. As such, aside from Vegeta, he was the only active Z Fighter at the end of the saga.

Fulfillment Saga[]

Krillin was one of the few Z Fighters who escaped The Benefactor. After seeing how wounded Android 18 and the others were, he went to go and get something in order to heal them. He soon ran into Yajirobe and attempted to get some of the samurai's senzu beans. Yajirobe was suspicious of this and wouldn't allow it. Then, Vegeta and the Benefactor found the two, which resulted in Yajirobe's hovercar being destroyed and senzus being thrown into the grass. Krillin gathered up what senzus he could find, distracted The Benefactor with a Solar Flare, and then fled to heal the Z Fighters. Afterwards, Krillin was seen taking part in Cardinal's tournament. There, he fought against Yamcha and won. Afterwards, he observed the duel between Vegeta and Ledas. Fulfillment Saga[]

Screechers (スクリチャー, Sukurichā) were small, black demons native to Verlate's prison. They had tall ears, red eyes, and rows of sharp, yellow teeth. Their entire visages were sharp, with spikes jutting out from all parts of their bodies, especially on their heads and shoulders. They had strands of black hair on their heads, but those hairs were few. Screechers were thoughts of Verlate, meaning they were not actual creatures. They were created by her imagination. Verlate used them several times to attack Ledas and The Benefactor (using her own power) and to test the two. Whenever one was defeated, it exploded in a puff of black smoke and two knew Screechers would spawn from that. After Verlate revealed herself to Ledas and The Benefactor, the Screechers were no longer seen much. Only once did Verlate conjure one up thereafter; and it was done so in private. She used the Screecher as an object to vent at, squeezing it and screaming at it in her despair. After Verlate died, Screechers were never seen again.

Fulfillment Saga[]

Verlate's tentacles (触手しょくしゅ, Shokushu) were a briefly seen type of enemy in Verlate's mind prison. Like the Screechers, Verlate's Tentacles were created by Verlate's imagination. She used them exclusively against The Benefactor, when she went to test him against the Lurker. Before putting him up against that, she had him walk through a trail which was filled with Tentacles sprouting out of the walls and pools in the floors. While they were relatively strong, The Benefactor was able to defeat them by cutting them apart with his knife and vaporizing them with energy attacks. They were never seen again after that encounter.

Fulfillment Saga[]

The Lurker (ラーカー, Rākā) was a type of enemy seen in Verlate's mind prison. Like with the Screechers and Tentacles, the Lurker was a creation of Verlate's mind. It was by far the single most powerful thought she ever created, as when she used it, it held the majority of her power. The Lurker had black skin, large, yellow rows of teeth, and spikes all over its body (similar to the Screechers). However, unlike the Screechers, the Lurker did not have any eyes. It was a very tall creature, being close to 13 meters tall. It was completely hairless and looks to be vaguely amphibious (like Verlate). The Lurker was used to fight against The Benefactor and test his power. While The Benefactor at first struggled against the creature (as he underestimated its power and speed), he was eventually able to raise his power level enough to allow him to defeat it in a beam struggle. There was only one Lurker seen in The Forgotten, and once it was killed by The Benefactor, it was never seen again. The Lurker was inspired by the Lurkers of the Elder Scroll series.

He only had dialogue during Ledas' and Trunks' fight, though he surely gave commentary to the other fights as well. He was seen during Ledas' and Vegeta's duel, eating and conversing with the Z Fighters. Once Vegeta and Ledas started sparring, he could not help himself, and jumped forward to commentate again. However, since he didn't have his mic handy, Ledas and Vegeta could not hear him.

During Ledas' and Vegeta's duel, they were all seen watching. Android 17 was also seen watching from the stand for a single panel, though he was appearing inconspicuous and anti-social. This explains why the other Z Fighters did not notice him. While none of these characters had any dialogue in the story, nor any prominence, it should still be noted that they were indeed around, as they are important characters within the universe.

One night, after a hunting trip, The Benefactor sneaked his way into Igear's house and knocked the boy out with a rock. Then, he dragged Igear to a nearby tree and tied him to it. Within a few seconds, The Benefactor began to brutally beat Igear to death with the rock, culminating in Igear's head being smashed and his eyes and brains falling out. Igear's screams did wake several neighbors, but The Benefactor fled before anyone could see who had killed the boy. Regardless, Igear's body was taken down by the Iyxan residents and given a proper burial the next day.

She tended to her son as best as she could, but with being a female, she had little role in his hunting training. The Benefactor stole her knife and cut himself because he was fascinated with blood, though she never knew about it. She was later taken as a slave by Iyxan warlords, prompting The Benefactor to wage planet-wide genocide in order to locate her. He never did. It is unknown if she was killed before The Benefactor could have found her, if he accidentally killed her when destroying various cities, or if she was inside the last city on the planet, which was eradicated by Frieza just before The Benefactor got to it. Regardless, even if she had survived all of those things, she would have been killed when The Benefactor blew up his home planet. So either way, she died somehow in the story; however, it is not specified how. Her son remembered her by carrying her knife on him at all times.

Ayale tried to be nice to The Benefactor at first, but after the boy refused her offer of fruit, she stopped being friendly to him. The Benefactor soon got fed up with Master Loriphim and his daughter, so he used his psychic abilities to control Loriphim. With the master under his control, The Benefactor ordered the Iyxan to kill his daughter. Then, he saved the remaining Kais from the planet before it could explode and transported them to a new planet which he created. He also saved the few surviving Kaiju Trees and brought them along as well. Then, he returned to his own planet and sentenced Verlate to eternity in a mind prison.

Listening to Verlate's advice, Sertung then went to the remaining Kais and started training them to take over as the caretakers of the universe. He did this not only because Verlate had asked him to but because his race was dying. In fact, by the time Sertung began teaching the Kais, he was one of only a handful of his race still living.

Forever Alone[]

The Kai (ザ·カイ, Za Kai) was the first Kai Verlate interacted with on the original Kai homeworld. While he did not believe Verlate was a god, he was intrigued by her powers. Once Verlate showcased her ability to use ki-based attacks, The Kai lunged at her and stole her powers before she knew what happened. The Kai then tried to use Verlate's energy attacks on several other Kais, but was unable to since he was so inexperienced with the techniques. Immediately and involuntarily, the energy flowed out of his body, allowing other Kais to absorb the ki for themselves. The Kai was later killed when one of his lackeys absorbed the ki and hit him with a ki blast.

Forever Alone[]

Forty-three (フォーティースリー, Fōtī Surī) was a Kai who worked for The Kai. Once The Kai had absorbed some of Verlate's energy, he tried to attack Forty-three. However, he was not used to the power of the ki blasts, so he was only able to create a non-lethal attack. After hitting Forty-three and the others with it, Forty-three became enraged and attacked The Kai. He absorbed some of Verlate's energy when he made contact with the Kai and then formed his own energy blast. When he fired it, however, it ended up killing both Forty-three and The Kai.

Forever Alone[]

Savage (サヴェッジュ, Savejju) was a Kai Verlate encountered after her energy had been stolen. He had been driven mad by absorbing the ki and attacked her on sight. Savage ran about on all fours and only growled and roared like an animal would - not like a supposedly hyper-sentient Kai should be acting. Verlate fought Savage for a while, merely stalling for an opening to escape (for it was not her place to kill him). After a brief but ferocious duel, Verlate was able to flee from Savage by hiding under some garbage in an alley. Savage was later rescued by Sertung when the High Judge transported the Kais from Old Kaishin to their new homeworld. There, he was taught how to control ki, so he soon reverted back to his normal personality. He lived out the remainder of his days without incident.

Forever Alone[]

Little Purple (リトルパープル, Ritoru Pāpuru) was a Kai child who survived the destruction of his original homeworld, Old Kaishin. He, along with two thousand other Kais, had been transported to a new homeworld by Sertung in order to escape his dying planet. When Sertung returned to the Kais' new homeworld, Little Purple was the first being he encountered. Thus, Little Purple was the very first Kai that Sertung taught how to use ki and how to be a good steward of the universe. Little Purple's name is never mentioned in Forever Alone, but this is the name that KidVegeta gave him at the time of writing the story. After Sertung left the Sacred World of the Kais, Little Purple grew up to be the first Northern Supreme Kai.
