Dragonball Z: Super Saiyan Legend is a video game for PS2, XBOX 360, PS3 and PSP.
Modes[]
Story[]
The story of the game is centered around the Saiyan and Frieza sagas of Dragonball Z. The movies are included and filler material is changed to take away plot holes. The game ends when Goku defeats Frieza but bonus levels can be unlocked such as the Garlic Jr saga and Frieza and King Cold's death at the hands of Trunks plus the battle against Cooler.
World Tournament[]
Fighters mat fight in the World martial arts Tournament to earn items and Zeni. The difficulties are Novice, Adept, Advanced and Master. Once all levels of difficulty are completed then new tournaments are unlocked; Worldwide, Galactic, Universal, Dimensional and Cell games.
Duel[]
Players can fight against friends or the computor with the characters they've unlocked.
Item collection[]
Buy items and use them to customize your character.
Training[]
Learn the basics of the game and great skills from the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Master. Rare items will be unlocked by completing levels of these. You can also practice your fighting style and techniques here.
Options[]
Change the settings and save or load game data.
Wish summoning[]
After collecting all seven Dragonballs you may use either Earth or Namek Dragonballs to summon Shenron or Porunga and recieve one of these items:
- Demonic mist (Story mode bonus level)
- Trunks (Bonus character)
- Instant Kamehameha (Bonus technique-Goku)
- Cell Games (Bonus tournament)
- Super Saiyan power (Bonus item)
- Hyperbolic time chamber (Bonus arena)
